    Another excellent book from the ASGT series. I first read Daniel Fleisch's book on Maxwell's Equations and was so impressed I now read everything he writes. He has a very thorough step by step approach to the subject with plenty of examples and diagrams. He obviously knows from long experience of fielding student's questions where their difficulties lie and pre-empts the reader with careful explanation of any required background. Each chapter has sample problems with hints & answers available on the book's website. I have to say the best physics author I have ever come across.

    Daniel A. Fleisch is Emeritus Professor of Physics at Wittenberg University, where he specializes in electromagnetics and space physics. He is the author of four other books published by Cambridge University Press: A Student's Guide to Maxwell's Equations (2008); A Student's Guide to Vectors and Tensors (2011); A Student's Guide to the Mathematics of Astronomy (2013) and A Student's Guide to Waves (2015).
